Baby Ronin!

About a month ago I went to go see Sabrina and Riley in the hospital to visit their brand new baby.  I got to hold the little guy at just a few hours old.  That was definitely the youngest baby I have ever held.  It took a while, but they finally chose on the name Ronin, which I love guys!
So this past Sunday I went over to their place to take 3 week old pics of little Ronin and his new Mom and Dad.  He was a little fussy at first and didn't want to fall asleep for us, but we still got some really cute pics of him.

You guys are awesome and I had a lot of fun with the three of you!!

Here are just a few pics as my computer is running out of hard drive space.  I will put up more this weekend.

Colorado Fishing Trip

Every other year, there is a group of us that try to get out west for a fly fishing trip.  This year my brother, dad, uncle, their friend Keith and myself went about 35 miles west of Colorado Springs to the 11 mile canyon.  It was a beautiful location with great fishing, food and company.
Keith is waiting for the fish to start rising while the fog is disappearing behind him in the early morning on the South Platte.

Ben & Jessicas Wedding

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of assisting on a wedding with my good friend, Diana Vermuelen.  This was my first time being on the photography end of a wedding.  I was a little nervous going into it but it was a great time and I hope to shoot more in the future.  Check out Diana's work at www.moxie-photography.com. Here are a few from the wedding with more to come.

Marques and Lindsay

My good friends Marques and Lindsay now live together out of somewhat unexpected circumstances.  So, now that they have a new place, with a large mantle, they wanted pictures taken of the two of them together.  We came up with an old fashioned, working class husband and his wife, no emotion sort of theme.  I went to their apartment a couple of weeks ago and we had a good time taking the pictures.  You can also see our "amazing" paint job in the background.  Here are the ones that ended up on their mantle.

Karyn & Williams Engagement Photos

I am glad I was asked to take Karyn and Williams engagement pictures this summer.  I have known Karyn and her family for many years so it was nice to be able to be apart of their special time.  Karyn is insanely easy to get to smile and laugh, and her response is always, "Shut up Ryan."  Thank you Karyn and Will, and congratulations on your marriage.  Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot:

Lauren and Kevin

Earlier this summer I took a couple of my friends, Kevin and Lauren, out near Wicker Park to snap a few pictures.  I had an engagement shoot the following weekend and I hadn't shot a couple outdoors in a while, so I just wanted to get some extra practice in.  Thank you Kev and Lauren and happy anniversary.  Maybe we can do some 1 year anniversary shots!
